1.sale n. 卖；出售；降价销售
for sale 出售；代售（sth．being sold or to be sold<对照on sale减价出售>）
A:Do you know how much Jill is asking for the car?
A:你知道吉尔那辆车要多少钱吗？
B:It's not for sale right now.
B:现在不卖。
2.People are paying high prices when they can find one for sale.
人们只要发现有（甲壳虫车）出售，就会出高价购买。
on sale 在销售；减价销售；降价出售(be sold at a lowered price)
例句：Let me measure your foot. Here are several different styles in your size. Try these on. They are on sale today.
让我量量你的脚。你那种鞋号这儿有几种不同的款式。试一下这双。今天正降价出售。
2.lt's our regular $50 bookcase on sale today for $40. If you buy a pair, you can save another five dollars for each．
这种书柜我们一般卖50美元，今天降价只卖40美元。如果你买两个的话，每个可以再少花5美元。
A:Do you have the paperback edition of the dictionary?

2.shake v./n. 1.摇动，摇 2.震动，颤抖
shako all over 混身发抖(tremble, shiver)
A:Weren't you nervous when the professor called on you in class?

B:I'd say I was shaking all over.
B:我要说我当时混身发抖。
例句：the thunder made the little girl shake all over．
